Ideology
There are many things in my life, foundations, ideals, that I value immensely and would defend when offended. Although with all those things there is an extent in which I would/could defend them. This is not because I am selfish and think only of myself, but because maybe I just have yet to find something that I truly value. Like much of life we learn more about ourselves as our lives continue, and things such as values inevitably change. What seemed to matter before may not matter (or not as much) anymore.

True, we are still so young and have much to learn and experience.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't always a thing we truly value. I believe it takes some time to really find something that means that much to us and that is really meaningful. Obviously the ideals such as family and friends are constant but more subtle values and ideals take time to recognize and think about.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the prompt, I was pretty confused at first. I thought of my family after struggling to write something down, and realized that I never asked myself this question before.
