“These lips can only describe what these eyes actually see.” This quotation goes to show that he is open minded, and willing to find truth in what he encounters. The reader can hear a voice of understanding and hope. From this we can tell that Che is a hopeful man, who was able to see things so clearly and abstractly finding meaning in certain things that we push aside and do not consider. The use of “describe” and “actually” set a tone of thought and certainty.
"Hearing the end when in reality we have just begun." This shows that Che is aware of what is around him, and where he stands. He realizes that there is a future for him, in which he will soon embark upon. Yet again we can tell that Che is hopeful. He seems to not believe that there are ever endings in his life, rather several beginnings that act as catalysts to his future. The words "hearing" and "just" create a voice of question. Reading it we too consider if we are "just" beginning our lives, and if we can "hear" an end to it.
